Solatrex was established in Shannon, Ireland, in 1976 and has been associated with the quartz electronic watch industry since its inception.

Our early product range included LED watches, which were produced under our brand name "Telstar".

As the electronic watch industry developed we have moved from LED to LCD to Quartz Analogue watch technology.

Today our watches and clocks are sold in many countries around the world - under our Telstar and Telstar Classic brand names.  Domestic sales are covered by Calcul International Ltd. while Solatrex deals with overseas markets.

The supply of watches and clocks with corporate logos or special customer branding is an integral part of our business.

For customers who prefer to review our collection on PC, we offer our product range in colour on CD-ROM, with built-in order placing facility. Order files can then be transmitted to us via email.

For customers with point-of-sale bar-code readers, all our products can be supplied with EAN-13 bar-code labels.

To cater for the rapidly expanding markets of Eastern Europe, sister companies have been established in Prague (Czech Republic), Bratislava (Slovak Replubic) and Moscow (Russia).
